Wedding Photography – London Ontario
A wedding is many things as well as a personal expression of tastes, passions and creativity of the bride and groom.
Selecting a Wedding Photographer
When selecting a wedding photographer, there are number of crucial questions that you need to ask yourself:
- Have you looked at some of their wedding albums? Not just a few images, an entire album. Ask me for examples of mine and I’ll send you the private web page link.
- Do you like their work? Is that how you want your wedding to be captured and remembered?
- Did the photographer capture the uniqueness of the moment or are all the photos the same?
- Will you have to pay for extra photos? I give you all the images on CD and DVD. Its included in my costs and I don’t charge any extra for it. You develop your own extras wherever you choose. This can be a huge saving.
- Can the photos have special effects?
- Are there additional charges for overtime, travel costs, assistants etc?
Interview your wedding photographer!
By interviewing several wedding photographers you will get to know different styles and standards of work and the likely cost. Different photographers have different rate structures. Some may charge for each print, others have fees for attending the wedding, while others offer package deals for so many shots per set, and additional charges for extra prints.
As you can see from my wedding galleries, both here on the site and private albums I can send you examples from, I believe that spontaneity is important in a wedding album. It avoids that contrived, posed look that permeates too much of the wedding photography world.
